I finally mastered the art of applying (and re-applying) sunblock.
I'm Irish and therefore cursed with the most god awful pale, burning, freckled skin. Seriously...it's bad. Some of you may remember Bunny wrote a cute little story about a minor sunburn I acquired on our trip to the Bahamas in High School. If you'd like to read it again, it's here. If not, don't worry. You're not missing much. It's not like I went delirious with sunstroke, wandered around the ship with my tits hanging out toting a camera and then passed out in the ship's elevator or anything.
Back to the topic at hand...sunblock, and my ability to apply. I just spent a week in Puerto Rico without so much as a speck of pink. I think it has to do with Coppertone and their awesome continuous spray, SPF 30. Seriously, it's the shizz. I didn't even need anyone to do my back! Just make sure you apply it outside and not around anything you don't want it to get all over like for example, your morning coffee...just sayin'.
So while it's slightly annoying to return to work and hear stuff like, "I thought you just spent a week in Puerto Rico?" and "How was your trip? Wait...Did you go?" (seriously, can they not see that I have more freckles?) it's worth it not to have to stuff my sheets in the freezer before bed each night.
