I think I'm in love...
...with the Container Store.
My determination to organize my life (and closet...and shoes...and makeup drawer...and lingerie drawer), and get my apartment back into a livable space, took me on my first trip to the Container Store. Wow. I have been turned on to a whole new realm of retail opportunities. And these retail opportunities can solve my organization problems. I could blow some serious cash in that store (I only blew some not-so-serious cash in there today).
In just one hour this afternoon I solved my makeup drawer issue, my makeup brush issue, and my lingerie drawer issue (I highly recommend these). Just one hour! All 3 problems solved! But the one big issue I haven't solved? My shoe issue...it's bad, people. If money weren't an issue, I would get one of these for each pair and stack them on the shelves in my closet. But, at $8 a pop, that's $450 (because you don't count boots and flip flops) just on shoe storage. And while my closet will be much more tolerable, that's just not an option. I mean, that's like two birthday dresses. Or a pair of D&G pumps.
Does anyone know where I can get cheaper shoe storage solutions? My closet is begging you...
