Last week I posted a link to buy Chanel Black Satin nail polish...sorry lacquer, on eBay. Appearances in Vogue, Elle and US Weekly within weeks of each other have rendered it sold out and impossible to get. It's like the Tickle Me Elmo for fashionistas.
My girlfriend (Trixie'sSnitch) was drunk shopping in Manhattan yesterday and got the scoop from a woman at Chanel who described the frenzy as a "mass exodus of the little bottles". Apparently they are going to re-release it around the holidays. Then they are going to come out with Black Satin 2.0 which will be more "glittery". (Not quite sure how I feel about that yet).
There you have it, bitches...your fashion talk of the day.
Now I'm going to continue to writhe in pain until my doctor appointment.

Trix - get your back checked. I know it may not be intuitive, but you have what sounds like referred pain. The sciatic nerve can be triggered by a pinched, ruptured, or slipped disc or otherwise irritated nerve in the back.
