Ask Trixie returns... - Saturday, December 02, 2006

Dear Trixie,

Ok, I was the one that sent you the "military guy, and brought a girl to Vegas" advice thread from about 9 months ago.

And, considering you were right as rain for the advice you gave me once, I have another situation:

Now, when I read that note from "Kfed", I'm scared that there is no way for a real relationship to occur with anyone.

If that's the way a "celebrity" (and trust me, I use that lightly) can act, how can us "normal guys" expect to find a normal girlfriend????

Wow...

You hold celebrities and their relationships to higher standards than yourself...just, wow.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge celebrity gossip whore. I do a celebrity gossip report twice a week for a radio station in Canada (I'm kind of a big deal there). But celebrity gossip is meant to be fun. That's it. Talking about Britney flashing her girlie parts is fun the same way it would be fun if my one of my girlfriend's did the same thing getting out of a cab in Wrigleyville (that would never happen because I only roll with classy bitches, but you get the picture).

Dude, they're all fucked up. They're almost all crazy and are most definitely narcissists. Of COURSE their relationships are never going to work out. They are not to be looked up to, admired (except of course for the truly talented artists and Kfed is not one of them, although he is a good dancer, but that's a topic for another day), or idolized in any way.

So to answer your question, us "normal" peeps have a FAR better chance at a successful relationship than celebrities....as long as we don't try to make people love us by giving them all expense paid trips to Vegas.

Disclaimer: The advice you just read was given by a woman who is 32 and single. I repeat...32 and SINGLE. Follow at your own risk.
