Greetings from PR! - March 14, 2008
I'm hammered and it's 3pm...awesome.
For some reason, my phone doesn't work in Puerto Rico. So if you're a friend of mine and you've called or texted and gotten nothing, that's why. It's not because I hate you. Unless I do...hate you.
Puerto Rico is cool. Except for the fact that the men think all women are helpless here. The guys at the rental car agency were ridiculous. They kept asking me if I've ever driven in Puerto Rico before, and when I told them no, they just shook their heads, like it was pathetic. It could be because I have like 6 inches on them, but I really think it's that machismo thing that I hear about.
I've been at the resort one day and I've already gotten yelled at by the pool life guard for going down the water slide "head first." What does he care? I know how to dive without hitting my head on the bottom... maybe next time my bikini top will "accidentally" come off on the way down.
Adios bitches!

Hey Trixie...you did once scratch your eye so badly you had to wear dark glasses all the time...you did this while sleeping. The pool guy might have a point about you NOT going down the slide head first.
Miss ya, mean it.

There is a reason the guy asked you if you have ever driven in PR before. I have driven there, once, and it was fuckin' scary. BTW what part of PR are you staying in? Where ever you are, make sure to see El Yunque, it is beautiful.

I don't know what part of PR you're in but you are brave to drive. I stayed in Old San Juan with those narrow ass streets and vowed not to drive. You may as well drive on the sidewalk there.
