OPI India - January 10, 2008

Last night I received this text message from a girlfriend...

"the next opi nail collection is India. available 2/6. get amped*!"

So of course I had to scour the internet to get a sneak preview (ads are in February fashion mags too), and let me tell you...HOT. I'm obsessed with some of these colors already.

Here's the list of names (because we all know the name makes the polish):

I'm Indi-a Mood for Love - hot pink
ElePhantastic Pink - light pink
Black Cherry Chutney - dark black red
Keys to my Karma - rich red
MonSooner or Later - orange red
Moon Over Mumbai - a soft grey
Yoga-ta Get This Blue - dark blue (and likely Trixie's go-to color)
Get Me to the Taj on Time - pale opal
Curry Up Don't Be Late - metallic gold
Charmed by a Snake - bronze
Lunch at the Delhi - coral
Royal Rajah Ruby - burgandy

I'm so amped*!

*Please don't judge my friends and I for our use of the word "amped"

Thinking I need a blue to match the BlackBerry. Oh yay on the tights at Target tip, I am 5'11 with long legs and fairly thin (148,ugh)and loving tights and sweater dress combo. Bought a new purse to match my brown tights and shoes

as a former (male) goth I am highly disappointed that no cosmetic company has made a matte jet-black-like-my-soul head-like-a-hole/grade-school-failure-red nail polish to simulate sharpies

I work at a salon and we just go these in! They look awesome (esp. the blue, gold, bronze, and the blackish red) and I'm really pissed we can't sell them for another week or so...or buy them! They're so tempting!
