I played golf yesterday for the first time this season.

It was ugly. I, however, was not. I was quite fetching in my ensemble (at least the foursome of 12 year old boys in front of us thought so).

I'm discovering today that there are some muscles you only use for golf.

On a somewhat related note, Nike has stepped up to the tee (hahahaha) with some super cute golf clothes and accessories this season. Check it...

How cute is that shit? I have major bag envy, and I'm trying to justify buying the bag. My new bag that I got for Christmas is adorable and I totally love, but it's a stand bag. This bag is a cart bag. A girl needs both, right?

Right?

Trix, I love ya gurl. Really I do. You can NOT justify buying a new bag, to match board/golf shorts and a matching hat. Most TRUE golf players get a new bag when the old one falls apart to the extent that they can't even hold it with both hands anymore. I know it is hard to fathom, and I know that golf is a great sport where you can combine beauty, brains AND patience (plus sometimes there are really hot men out there) But you don't get to own 5 different golf bags to color coordinate your game. The outfit, yes. The bag, no. I am sorry to disappoint. I am sure you will need a cocktail after this. Hey. If you are THAT depressed, go to yahoo. Click images, and type in Michael Phelps.. There. I have done my good deed for Trixie and golfers everywhere... Sometimes being an athlete is very disappointing.

I feel like I should point out that I have not yet ordered the shorts...the hat, yes, but not the shorts.
