Who wants to clean my apartment? - July 22, 2008
So I have this thing where I won't let anyone into my apartment if it's not clean. I think that's pretty standard for women. My apartment is really (disgustingly) dirty, which should tell you a little bit about how my love life has been for the past few months. However, I don't think I can put PTS off for much longer. Usually we'll go out and we'll be close enough to his apartment where it's a no-brainer to go back there. Tonight, however, he called on his way home from downtown saying how my place was on the way, and yada, yada, yada...
I told him he couldn't come over because my apartment still wasn't clean enough. I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm hiding a husband or a nursery up in this bitch.

I live in MI, but I'd totally take a day trip down and clean. I have a thing for liking to clean OTHER peoples houses more than my own. My fiance would probably think I was crazy though... i don't know how I'd explain that one..

Okay... I feel you. I too hate to clean. I won't do it. My hubby is disgusted, but I have a perfect solution. You work in an office building, and they have a staff that cleans. Many of the staff are MORE than willing to clean people's homes on their off hours... Ask around the office as well.. I am POSITIVE that SOMEONE you know has a part time maid that works for $10-$13 per hour... If you have them come every other week, it shouldn't take them more than 2 hours... Unless you want them doing your laundry as well... I advise you to take that to a laundry who will wash, dry, fold per pound for you... And you are right, you can't put him off too much longer... Trixie is gonna hafta turn a new trick... Good Luck!!
